Performance

A peek under the hood of the GX 550 will reveal the secret of its robust operation on I-95 — its standard twin-turbocharged 3.4L V6 engine. This energetic component will hold your attention by delivering 349 horsepower1 and 479 lb.-ft. of torque. The GX 550 will also amaze you with its 9,063-lb. maximum towing capacity2. The standard full-time 4WD system can accelerate from 0 to 60 MPH in a breathtaking 6.5 seconds3. With the GX 550’s long list of impressive qualities, it shouldn’t surprise you that it’s also a Certified Ultra-Low Emission Vehicle.

Exterior

In the elegant 2025 Lexus GX 550, you’ll have your choice of available paint colors including Atomic Silver, Nori Green Pearl, and Caviar, all of which will showcase your classic style during your next trip to Friendship Fountain. The body of the GX 550 is accented with standard features such as triple-beam LED headlamps, privacy glass, and power-folding outside mirrors, which make it easier to pull into tight spaces without worrying about damaging your vehicle. To stand out from the crowd, try available additions like an aluminum front skid plate or automatic power-extending running boards. As you turn your attention to the final details of the GX 550’s design, you can make the standard 20-inch 6-twin-spoke alloy wheels tougher with the addition of available all-terrain tires.

Interior

Depending on how many passengers you expect to bring along for the ride, you can choose a 2025 GX 550 trim with standard seating for seven or available accommodations for five to six. The 6-seater option may have fewer chairs, but it features expanded legroom with heated second-row captain's chairs. You’ll have plenty of space to bring along luggage with 10.3 cubic ft. of cargo capacity4 behind the backseat or 76.9 cubic ft.4 with the rear rows folded down. The available power rear door is equipped with a kick sensor5, making loading up the GX 550 with your gear an easy task. Between the standard power tilt-and-slide moonroof and the available Dynamic Sky™ panorama glass roof, you’ll have no shortage of opportunities when it comes to setting the mood with a picturesque view. If you want your car-buying experience to be as relaxing as a drive in the GX 550, you can shop online with our user-friendly Chatham Parkway Lexus website!

“ Five stars to Chatham Parkway Lexus! Everyone we spoke with were wonderful and very knowledgeable. CASSIDY is your girl. She knows so much about their vehicles and will give you all the information you need and want to know. Al, the finance manager, was also amazing and very funny. They took their time to make sure everything's straightened out before we took our vehicle home. Thanks to Cassidy and Chatham Parkway Lexus!! ”

Victoria Williams Adcock 11-14-2025

“ I had an awesome experience here buying my certified Lexus! Every member of the team from sales to finance to the technology expert who showed me all the features on my car were so kind and helpful! I am a brand new mom and wanted to kick myself for waiting until after my son was born to try to take on this task but everyone at Chatham Parkway Lexus made this a breeze for this stressed out mama! I feel very comfortable with this purchase for our growing family and am so happy with our new ride :) ”

“ After 40 years in the industry as both a new car dealership partner and a VP and President in the car rental industry, all I can say is dealing with this dealership, and Sam Grant it was a 10. Sam took the time to both follow up and even had the LC500C put on a flatbed and taken to my house. Is this typical Lexus service, I can't say, but I'm not the easiest to deal with because of my background, but both Sam and their GM could not have been more perfect. I wish all dealships could be like this one. Oh, I love the car. ”

Ryan Weems 2-10-2023

“ This dealership is exceptional. Our sales lady Angela was at no point anything but professional and helpful. She showed us multiple cars, called us back when something came in she thought we would like, and answered all of our hundreds of questions without hesitation. Ultimately we did not purchase from here, but gladly would and was the best car shopping experience we have had. ”

“ I just bought a beautiful 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe at a fair price and a full tank of gas. Brenda was the sales person, I highly recommend her, she was knowledgeable. She did not make feel pressured to buy as I shopped, but made suggestions about other vehicles on the lot, as I test drove. Everyone at Chatham Parkway Lexus made us feel important, like we were superstars! We visited several lots that day and hands down the respect and treatment we received was stellar. We will never shop any where else. ”

Jocelyn Hardee 11-7-2022

“ I would give Chatham Parkway Lexus 100 stars if it was an option. This is my 2nd purchase. My 1st purchase, Angela helped me decide on a 2019 NX300.. I absolutely LOVED this vehicle.. but unfortunately just 2 months after I purchased it, I was in a horrible accident where I was T boned at approximately 80mph.. My NX saved my life. I walked away very bruised and sore, but alive. The safety ratings on this car are AMAZING! Today I got back in contact with Angela - we sat and discussed a new vehicle.. I thought I wanted another NX but decided on more room and went w/ 2020 RX350. Angela is not only honest, knowledgeable, and patient but she LISTENS!!!! She knew (yet again) just want I wanted / needed. She knows these vehicles inside and out. Chatham Parkway Lexus is so lucky to have her.. she truly is the best! I also met the General Manager today. He is so sweet.. he came to wish me well on healing after the accident. He reassured me I was making the best purchase as he took the time to weigh out pros and cons of the 2019 and 2020 models.. the warranties etc. I left tonight not only excited for my purchase but feeling just like family. The dealership is absolutely beautiful, clean, friendly and cozy. The service department is wonderful.. I had just had my 5,000 mile maintenance done on my NX.. they were not pushy, completed all tasks timely. My car was then detailed and ready when they called me to pick it up. Quick and painless! I recommend this dealership and it’s staff to anyone in the market. I promise, you will not be disappointed! Thank you Chatham Parkway Lexus - I am a customer for life! **pics of the accident/ I walked away from - this was my NX after taking a Dodge Charger @ 80mph to the side. ** ”

Gerasimos Siliverdis 11-7-2022

“ This is my first service with the dealership and Larry was excellent. I was expecting much higher prices for a dealer and I believe they are very reasonable. They do have my business and will try them out when it is time to buy another Lexus. ”
